When Central Bankers Attack Watchout!
As the Fed watches its credibility ebb away, it is hard to believe they will continue to take it lying down. The powers have been backed into a corner by inflationary warning signals, and they may use unconventional means to try and put a lid on gold. Their options include IMF gold sales talk, further hikes in futures margin, and coordinated gold sales talk from the world’s central banks. In the long run these efforts will likely prove futile, but in the short run a sharp correction was and could become the result.
